Helle Everyone,

I am on a Robert H. Jamison Reunion Committee.  We are looking for class mates that graduated (were promoted) in the Class of 1977.  The reunion for that class is going to be April 15, 2017.  This is a sponsored event so basically all you have to do is let me know you want to attend by emailing me your name.  No tickets necessary.  Dinner will be served and there will be a cash bar.  Once you email me, I will send you the event location and other details.

I hope to hear from you!

We graciously acknowledge any and all other Robert H. Jamison Reunion Committees.

Thank you

Hello from a Watterson Avenue boy, Most of you probably called me Roy.  I am still slow moving by the way. I just found out Jamison was torn down. I was aware that Corlett was torn down several years ago and a new school was built on the same site. I was there from 1968 through 1972 (I had to repeat the 8th grade; bad attitude) before I went to John Adams.  I left Cleveland in 1984 (industry dried up there big time!) and have been living in Texas and working for Uncle Sam since then.  Love these mild South Texas winters!  Take care everyone.

I attended RHJ Jr. High between 1976-1978. I was in the band and choir. I would hang out with Cynthia Gentry. I had some fond memories at Jamison. I can't remember my homeroom teacher. If anyone have any old yearbooks during that time i sure would like to see some pictures. I grew up on E. 131's and Crennel.

WOW!, really brings back some memories.  There were some good ones and some not so good but all in all we were group to reckon with.  I see some of us are no shows such as myself.  But I am still around a little older and smarter I should think.  I have married and remarried they say the second time is a charm and so far it is.  I have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren.  My son's wife had 2 when they married.   Hope to see some of you soon at one of Jamison's events.  I plan on attending 2 that I know of.

Hello Fellow Chargers,
It's was great to see the pictures of
my old friends. Sorry I missed the reunion.
Some of the things I saw and learned at
Jamison, I'll never forget. Especially that
7th grade basement study hall with Mrs. Simpson running the prison. (Remember the total black outs down there when the lights were, "accidently" shut down?

Best Regards,

My best friend Belinda Allen who went to JFK from 1973 - 1976 emailed me this website.  She said that I would be pleasantly surprised.  And she was right.  It was a treat seeing familiar faces.  I remembered Karen Jones-Walker, Cassandra Murph-Porter, Sugar Lady (Kariel Austin) Rhea Austin's younger sister, Valerie Charles,  Boldie Hardaway, Tonia  McDougal, and from the Guest book:  Charles Robinson and all the names he mentioned.

I will continue checking out this website periodically searching for some of my classmates from 1971 through 1973 who attended RHJ and for upcoming events.

Hope everyone stays well.

Peace.

Take Care.

Wow, I missed it.  I did enjoy looking through the pictures.  I am searching for people graduating high school in 1982.  We have a group set up on yahoo JFKCLE1982@yahoogroups.com .  We were bused after leaving Jamison so we scattered.  Having a Jamison site was a wonderful idea.  Thanks Sandra Bishop

Wow!  What a weekend.  George and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  We are still talking about it. It was so nice seeing everyone although we wished that we could have seen more of our classmates of 1969-1971.  Still, it was really good to see those who came.  And seeing so many teachers and staff was a double treat (I still owe Mrs. Junior and Mrs. Fanning for swatting me - in my thin gym suit!).  Man, I would have given anything to have seen Mr. Walker (the music teacher).  Do any of you remember when Jamison had a talent show and Mr. Walker sang "Love on a Two-Way Street"?  Remember when he threw off his cape like James Brown??  Boy, those were the days.

Kudos and hats-off to the Committee who did a yeoman's job with putting this all together.  The banquet facility, the food, the music; the picnic and the food, fellowship and fun was OUTSTANDING!

George and I hope there will be another Jamison reunion in two years.  Lord willing, we will be there!

Sorry this is so long.  One more thing - GO OBAMA!!!!  "We" have an opportunity to bring our parents' and grandparents' dreams to life.  To God be the Glory!

Thank you all for your positive feedback.
Just to see that EVERYONE truly was having a nice time made all of the stressful events of the evening all worthwhile.

Everyone looked so elegant and conducted
themselves like true professionals (well not exactly everyone, just pray for 'em), anyways, I am looking forward to other
events in the future, possibly a cruise or
something else different, just continue to visit this website for future updates.

REMEMBER THE CHARGER SHUFFLE - WE ARE TRENDSETTERS!!!!!GO CHARGERS, LOVE YA!

P.S. - NOW THAT THE REUNION IS IN THE PAST.  I CAN SPEAK MY MIND AT LAST.
EVENT PLANNING, I JUST LOVE TO DO,
JUST PAY ON TIME SO THAT WE CAN GET THROUGH!!!!  GOD BLESS...

TO ALL CLASSES OF ROBERT H. JAMISON

IT HAS BEEN A HONOR SERVING ON THE JAMISON COMMITTEE, JUST SEEING ALL OF THE SMILES ON FACES FROM THE JOKES AND STORIES OF FRIENDS AND FORMAL CLASSMATES WHOM WE LOVED BEING AROUND BACK IN THE DAY, AND THE ATTENTION OUR DISTINQUISHED PANEL OF TEACHERS RECEIVED WAS GREAT, BUT TO ALL WHO MISSED THIS SPECIAL WEEKEND, ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS 'HA HA' ,
I MEAN HA HA WITH A CAPITAL H.
ALL THE OLD PIMPS AND PLAYER'S WERE THERE, EVEN THE ATHLETES & BALLER'S, NOW CONSIDERED BIG TIME SHOT CALLER'S AND i EVEN SEEN A NERD. ALTHOUGH IT WAS RAINING, I THOUGHT THE GUY WHO READ THE LEGACY OF JAMISON WAS ENTERTAINING, EVEN THE FOOD AND MUSIC WAS SUPERB.

THE COST WAS 40 DOLLARS, WHICH IS A LOT OF DOLLARS AND CENTS, PLEASE EMAIL US YOUR THOUGHTS, REQUEST, AND IDEALS FOR FUTURE EVENTS

thanks...

Yo boy 'Butchie'

I would love to see some of the old class mates and laugh about the old times at Jamison. I would also like to see some of the people who attended JFK after we left Jamison. I plan on passing the word about this event to others that I know that attended Jamison in the 70's. I am really looking forward to seeing all of you this August.

The names I listed, you should know one or two, a brother or sister or cousin who knew you

I am truly looking forward to a memorable reunion.
It has been roughly 34 -35 years since I last saw my
former clasmates who attended JFK.
